Widgets! Widgets! Dashboard Widgets? |

 | The latest craze on my Powerbook G4 laptop are Tiger's
dashboard widgets. Those mini applications that run on a separate
semi-transparent desktop. As soon as I found out how easy they were to
create, I went crazy. A perfect way to bring focused content directly
to an already interested user.

Make your own widget?Don't be timid about trying to write your own widget. They are nothing more than a web page. If you want to do anything fancy you will have to know a little javascript. What better time to learn what you have wanted to learn for so long. These things are really great! (even though I thing Apple really did steal them) Nest thing on my adgenda when I really get some time (hahahah) is to convert the dashboard widgets that I have done to Konfabulator widgets as well
